Split PDF & Extract Pages

Select pages with ranges such as 1-3,5 and save them as a new PDF without converting the original pages to images.

How to extract selected PDF pages

  1. Choose one PDF, up to 50MB and 300 pages.
  2. Enter a page range. 1-3,5 selects pages 1, 2, 3 and 5.
  3. Preview the selected pages and choose an output filename.
  4. Extract the pages, then download the completed PDF.

Example and output file

For a 10-page PDF, 2-4,7 creates one four-page PDF containing pages 2, 3, 4 and 7. The original file is unchanged. This tool does not create a separate PDF for every page or a ZIP archive.

Page range rules

Page numbers start at 1. Separate ranges with commas and enter pages in ascending order. Duplicate pages such as 1-3,3, reversed ranges such as 4-2, descending selections such as 7,2 and pages outside the document are rejected. Use the PDF organizer to reorder pages.

File processing and limits

File contents are processed in your browser. Pages are copied into a new PDF without converting them to images. OCR, text editing and password-protected PDFs are not supported. Signatures, forms and bookmarks may not be preserved; open and check the output before submitting it.
